Bohemian Baby Shower In The Mountains

Oh baby! This bohemian baby shower is the perfect way to celebrate a new addition to the family. The use of mismatched chairs at the table paired perfectly with the theme. Good conversation happens at such a table! Furthermore, the chair for the mom-to-be is a great addition for her to open presents and have her moment to shine. We’ll definitely be stuck on that grazing table for… hours. The whole event has been done very well!

Gabriel von Hecking Photography tells us all about this bohemian baby shower,

Back in October I planned, hosted, and photographed my best friend’s baby shower. I hosted her shower at my parents’ house in their backyard in Fairview, NC. surrounded by the Blue Ridge MountainsEd We. My friend, Brittany, loves all things bohemian and the theme of her little girl McCray’s nursery was bohemian., So, The theme of her baby shower was bohemian with lots of neutral colors (tan, ivory, white, brown, blush and pops of terracotta and orange). We asked all the guests to wear their favorite boho dress to the shower. For the flowers, I asked the florist to mix both dry ingredients (pampas grass, etc…) and roses, + other fresh flowers.

As for the balloon arch, I asked for neutral colors that would pair well with the floral pieces. For the decor, we chose to go with long farm tables with mismatched chairs to add to the boho/carefree feel of the shower. We used a Turkish rug and peacock chair to open gifts for the mom-to-be, We positioned it in front of the Balloon Arch. The food we had at the shower was a salad bar, charcuterie grazing table (complete with nuts, bread, dips, fruit, crackers, etc.. that mom could eat), gluten free cake with dried flowers, cake Pops, Iced Sugar Cookies, Cake Pops, Macarons, and a Make Your Own Mom-Oosa Bar. We had a lovely time eating, drinking and opening presents, When the sun went down over the mountains we celebrated the mother-to-be.

Finally, we can save all these photos to our future baby shower boards. For example, we’ll need those exact cake pops… Looking for even more inspiration? Check out this neutral baby shower outfit with modern details!
